When shipping a Bible to us for standard rebinding, please fill out our order form for the standard binding package, print it and send with your book.
All available options are listed on the form including choices of materials, colors, method of payment and space for additional instructions, questions or comments.
Rush service cannot be guaranteed; but we will make every effort to complete the work by the expected date. Rush service does not include time in transit.
Yapp Edges (extra wide leather edges on covers) - We no longer offer the Yapp edge on hand Bibles although we can make the covers wider than normal (up to 1/4" wider than the pages.) Please request wide covers in the notes area on the submission form.
Gilding (gold coating on edges of pages) is not available.
Bindings - We offer four types of cover flexibility:
- Standard - same as most standard bookstore Bibles
- Stiff - extra heavy boards (not hardcover) - semi-rigid
- Flexible - thin board is used - very flexible
- Limp - leather-lined cover with very thin board (Deluxe package only)
Re-use old cover - Many times when the original cover is in good condition but the binding is falling apart and some signatures (groups of folded pages) are loose, we can make the repairs, add new end-sheets (blank pages found inside the front and back covers) and rebind the Bible into the original cover. This adds many years to the life of the book without the expense of a total binding. The average cost is from $35 to $45 depending on the condition.
